70th annual Home, Garden and Remodeling Show comes to Kentucky Exposition Center

The Home, Garden and Remodeling Show, presented by Champion Windows and powered by LG&E, celebrates 70 consecutive years this year as the largest, longest-running and locally produced home show in the region.

Tens of thousands of guests will be welcomed to view and get inspired by the latest and greatest in home and garden related products and services at the Kentucky Exposition Center March 2-4. Nearly seven acres and over 350 booths will transform the exhibit hall with beautifully built displays and custom demos, as well as trusted industry professionals on site to answer questions.

Included in the cost of admission, guests can also choose from a variety of shows and seminars held on the featured stages around the show.

The Cooking Stage is back by popular demand and will have a great variety of cuisines and topics held by some of the area’s most popular chefs. Guests will have the opportunity to try something new, spice up traditional recipes or embrace “farm-to-table” by incorporating things grown in their own gardens. Watching popular food programs is a great place to get inspired, but the stage gives viewers the opportunity to smell the aromas and, in some cases, taste the finished products.

The Home & Garden Stage has a new twist this year by expanding seminars to include “home” related seminars, as well as continuing the popular and educational “garden” related topics in the series. Attendees will walk away inspired and with the confidence to incorporate many of the themes and ideas in their own homes.

Art Explosion is this year’s must-see featured entertainment.

The Entertainment Stage will hold daily shows led by world famous speed-art painter Sophia Mitchell. Enjoy watching a masterpiece come to life in a fun, high-energy style, all while choreographed to music. This style of entertainment has never been showcased at the Home, Garden and Remodeling Show and is a must-see.

By bringing that honey-do list and an open mind, attendees are sure to go home with something from the show.

Admission for the Home, Garden and Remodeling Show is $10 for adults and $9 for senior citizens. Children 15 and under and military members with a valid ID enter free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

Show hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. For more information about the Home, Garden and Remodeling Show, visit LouisvilleHomeShow.com, or go to facebook.com/louisvillehomeshow for a special buy-one-get-one-free offer.
