Maj. Gen. Jeff Smith, commander of U.S. Army Cadet Command and Fort Knox, will host a free public performance at Quarters 1 Monday at 6:30 p.m. The 113th Army Band will be performing; seating is festival style, attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
Water outage Wednesday
Fort Knox PAO
There will be a scheduled water outage Wednesday from about 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the replacement of a fire hydrant. A boil water advisory may be issued for Bldg. 4244 on N. Park Rd. that day. The advisory will be lifted by the Kentucky Division of Water if the bacteriological test results are negative. More information about the boil water advisory will be available on the door tags that will be placed in this area. When the boil water advisory is lifted, additional green tags will be posted.

Ammunition Supply Point to close
The Fort Knox Ammunition Supply Point will be closed for inventory Sept. 23-27. To preclude emergencies and control situations for activities requiring munitions during the closed period, activities may draw munitions prior to closure on a case-by-case basis. Munitions required during this period must be drawn by close of business Sept. 20. Prior coordination with the ASP Operations Office is required.
