Right Arm Night, bourbon, BBQ and jazz tomorrow
The Saber & Quill will host Bourbon, BBQ & Jazz on the Verandah tomorrow at 5 p.m. in conjunction with Right Arm Night (4-6 p.m.) A BBQ buffet will offer brisket, BBQ pork, baked beans, corn on the cob, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and cinnamon apples. Hot dogs will be available for children. The cost of the buffet is $12.95 for adults. A cash bar will offer a variety of bourbon drinks as well as Kentucky Bourbon Ale brew. Mail center operational now
Fort Knox PAO
The official mail and distribution center is now operational. Due to the backlog, certified and accountable mail will be the priority and will be processed the same day; all other mail will be processed as quickly as possible. Contact Barry Ellano at (502) 624-7500 for more information.
Construction may slow traffic on Bullion Boulevard
Beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Bullion Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in both directions at the US31W Overpass. Crews will begin removal and replacement of concrete median, curbs and pavement on the inside lanes first. After completion of work on the inside lanes, those will be re-opened and work will shift to the outside lanes.
Minor delays will be possible during peak travel hours, Monday through Friday.
