BeastMode seeks runners

BeastMode of Hardin County Kentucky track club presents its spring/summer youth track program March 13-June 10. Practice is Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church and North Hardin High School.

The program is open to boys and girls in the Fort Knox/Hardin County area ages 6-13 years old, first-eighth grade who are interested in track and field.

Registration is open through Friday
at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 1182 Jones St. in Radcliff.

AGCRA GVC golf tournament

The Adjutant General Regimental Association Gold Vault Chapter is hosting its seventh annual golf tournament April 27. The event will be held at Fort Knox’s Lindsey Golf Course. Entries are limited to the first 128 golfers—32 teams. Registration ends April 14.

Archery registration

Fort Knox Youth Sports will be having archery registration signups through Tuesday for its upcoming season.
Signups are being held 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and until 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Central Registration office Bldg. 1384 Chaffee Avenue.

The season is Wednesday-April 18 Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. for Archery 1 (beginners). Archery 2 is 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays. Youth must complete Archery 1 before beginning Archery 2.

Cost is $50 per child. All players must be Family members of active duty, retired military or family members of civilian workforce including contractors on Fort Knox.

At time of registration, youth must have a current sports specific physical on file.

Coaches wanted

Fort Knox Youth Sports is seeking for coaches for its upcoming baseball, softball and soccer seasons. All head and
assistants coaches must attend a National Youth Sports Coaches Association
clinic. They must also complete a background, attend a child abuse and special needs class in order to coach. If an individual is selected to be a head coach,
all children participating in the team sports program this season are free. Cost for assistant coaches’ first child is free and additional children receive a 15-percent
discount.

Soccer referees needed

Fort Knox Youth Sports and the
Fort Knox Officials Association are in
need of soccer referees for its upcoming season. To become a certified referee,
individuals must be at least 12 years
old. If interested, register online at
www.kyreferee.gameofficials.net. The cost is $65.
