Courtesy photo \ SIXTEEN-YEAR OLD GABRIEL ARNOLD, OF FORT KNOX, HAS EARNED the highest advancement award the Boy Scouts of America offers to Scouts, the Eagle Scout Award. He was recognized in a ceremony May 14 at the Patton Museum on Fort Knox. Arnold, who is a member of Lincoln Heritage Council, Troop 155, is one of approximately 4 percent of all Boy Scouts who attain the Eagle rank. Each candidate must earn 21 merit badges and successfully complete a community, church, or synagogue related service project to earn his Eagle; Arnold chose a community project partnering with the Red Cross. He held a run for youth with all proceeds going back to the Red Cross. He has served as a Patrol Leader and Troop Guide earning 34 merit badges and the Order of the Arrow.
