Army Black Knights complete Windon Classic golf tournament Monday in Lake Forest, Illinois

The Army West Point golf team wrapped up their second tournament of the fall and finished 16th at the Windon Memorial Classic in Lake Forest, Illinois, hosted by Northwestern.

The Black Knights finished with a team score of 916 through the two-day event. Marquette came from fourth place on the final day to take home the victory with a 4-under tournament total.


n Justin Williamson finished in a tie for 47th place with a final score of 70-76-78—224 (+8).

n Matt Plunkett ended up 55th on the leaderboard, shooting a 71-76-79—226 (+10) over the three rounds.

n James McKee carded a 77-77-79—233 (+17) to place in the top three among the Black Knights competing.

n UC Davis’ Thomas Hutchison stayed on top of the leaderboard both days and won the individual title with an 11-under tournament for a total score of 205.
