Post tree lighting

The Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be today at 5:30 p.m. at the post gazebo near Brooks Field, featuring the 113th Army Band, community groups, caroling and more. Trees for Troops will follow the ceremony.

Ireland Army Community Hospital’s “Open Access” appointments began Tuesday. Patients needing appointments in Family Care and Pediatrics can receive an appointment the same day they call. The new hours for Family Care and Pediatrics has also changed to 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. To make an appointment call (502) 799-5901 or toll free (800) 493-9602, weekdays from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
New pharmacy opens Tuesday
The PX Pharmacy moves to its new home this weekend. Service at the PX Pharmacy will continue as normal through Saturday and  be closed Monday. The Binter Street Pharmacy, located at the intersection of Binter and Maxwell streets behind the Commissary, opens at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.  
Memorial planned
for Fort Knox Soldier

A memorial service for
Spc. James Baxley will be held in Haszard Auditorium at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow. Baxley passed away in Louisville Nov. 20.
