ASB to conduct
change of command

U.S. Army Accessions Support Brigade will conduct a change of command ceremony at 10 a.m., tomorrow at Sadowski Center on Fort Knox. The public is invited to attend.
During the ceremony, Col. Mark Rado will turn over command to Col. Brian Cavanaugh.
Knox Community Schools seeks applicants for board of education
Fort Knox Community Schools
The Fort Knox Community Schools system seeks four parents or guardians to serve on the board of education. They will fill one vacancy and three pending vacancies on the five member board.
Election will be for three two-year positions and one one-year position, completing an unexpired terms of office. An applicant may file for either a one-year term or a two-year term.

Maj. Gen. Smith to
address community

Fort Knox PAO
Fort Knox Commander Maj. Gen. Jeff Smith is scheduled to host a town hall focused on providing an installation update. Open to the general public and scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. July 30 at the Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center in Elizabethtown, Smith will cover such topics as the upcoming inactivation of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division; the installation’s ongoing and planned construction; U.S. Army Cadet Command transformation initiatives related to Fort Knox; an introduction of new Fort Knox leaders; and more. The PAC is located at 384 W. A. Jenkins Rd.  
PX/commissary council meeting July 26
The PX/commissary quarterly council meeting will be held in the Saber & Quill Club, Tanker Room from 1 to 3 p.m. July 26.
The council is a cross section of the PX and commissary customers who meet with and advise PX and commissary management of customers’ needs and wants; assist in improving customer service by obtaining the benefit of customer attitudes through suggestion; participates in informal discussions and opinions concerning items sold in the PX.
