Country music recording artist Ben Rue will perform at Louisville Palace Dec. 5 and share his story as part of Acoustic Jam 2017, a special evening that will also benefit the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Rue has teamed up with Roche Diabetes Care to promote his new iTunes Country Charts Top 12 album “Back to the Nights” and spread awareness about Accu-Chek® Guide and his journey living with diabetes. Rue was only 14 when he learned he would be living with diabetes for the rest of his life. Despite his diagnosis, he refused to let diabetes affect his dream of becoming a musician. In fact, Rue now uses his music platform as a way to spread awareness and provide inspiration to others also struggling with a chronic condition.

Rue will join a lineup of 12 country acts that include Gary Allan, Big & Rich, Easton Corbin, Midland, Lauren Alaina, Tyler Farr, Lanco, Morgan Wallen, Devin Dawson, Delta Rae, and Walker Montgomery.

Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster.com. The event starts at 7 p.m. n
