Fort Knox Exchange offers special savings for Air Force Birthday Sept. 18

It was 71 years ago from this Tuesday that the U.S. Air Force became an independent military branch. The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is marking this momentous occasion with one-day discounts and savings at all its locations.

Soldiers and military families can:

n Save 10 cents on every gallon of gas with the MILITARY STAR card at Exchange fuel locations

n Save 15 percent at Exchange restaurants with the MILITARY STAR card

n Save $10 on a purchase of $25 or more from any Exchange mall vendor with MILITARY STAR. The coupon required for this offer can be
found in the Exchange sales flier or at the customer service desk.

n Save 10 percent on Air Force gifts and collectibles, or save 20 percent with MILITARY STAR.

General Manager Ellen Henderson. “But this is a special opportunity for us to celebrate our Airmen and their Families and let them know how grateful we are to them.”
