Military Star savings are getting even better for Fort Knox Soldiers and their families from Aug. 17 through 30. New accountholders will receive 15 percent off all purchases they make the first day instead of the 10-percent discount regularly offered. Discounts will appear as a credit on the customer’s first monthly billing statement.

Soldiers and families can save on Military Star purchases at Army & Air Force Exchange facilities, ShopMyEx-change.com and select Morale, Welfare and Recreation locations. This includes Armed Forces Recreation Cen-ter resort destinations: Dragon Hill Lodge in Seoul, South Korea; Hale Koa Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii; Edel-weiss Lodge and Resort in southern Germany; and Shades of Green in Orlando, Florida.

“Military Star provides a significant value to the military community,” said General Man-ager Ellen Henderson. “This limited time offer is a great chance for Soldiers and their families to take advantage of the exclusive savings and benefits.”

Other benefits of the card include:

n Two points per dollar on purchases, and a $20 gift card after 2,000 points earned

n The lowest flat-rate APR (11.99 percent) among store cards—rate is offered to all cardholders

n No annual, late or over-limit fees

n Reduced-interest deployment plan with no payments required for eligible customers

The Military Star card is administered by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service
and is accepted at all military exchanges
and commissaries. For more information, visit MyECP.com. n
