Airmen, military families and retirees can get a free sneak peek of STXfilms’ “I Feel Pretty,” starring Amy Schumer, April 14 at the Fort Knox Reel Time Theater.

The free military appreciation screening begins at 7 p.m.

The Fort Knox community will get to see the movie nearly a week before its release to nationwide audiences April 20 courtesy of STXfilms, a division of STX Entertainment, and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service.

“The Exchange is privileged to offer the Fort Knox community this free military-exclusive advance screening,” said Exchange General Manager Ellen Henderson. “With all they sacrifice in service of our country, [Soldiers] and their Families deserve an opportunity to kick back, relax and come together as a military community.”

“I Feel Pretty” is rated PG-13.

In the film, Schumer plays a woman struggling with insecurity who wakes from a fall believing she is the most beautiful and capable woman on the planet. Her new confidence empowers her to live fearlessly, but what happens when she realizes her appearance never changed?

The screening is one of 34 being held at Exchange Reel Time Theater locations at military installations across the country, in addition to a screening at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The Fort Knox Reel Time Theater is located at Waybur Theater, Bldg. 1102. For information, call (502) 942-4284. n
