Reader thanks NCO for act of kindness

-A A +A

Many of us have read about, performed and/or been the recipient of a random act of kindness. I am a recipient.
Thank you Sgt. 1st Class Peck (I do not have a first name or a Fort Knox unit, read the name on his chest) for the act of kindness to me late Wednesday afternoon, March 11.
I’d stopped my car in the median on N. Logsdson Pkwy., (in) Radcliff. This was my third time stopping, responding to a bright red light that popped on (and, obeying instructions in my owner’s manual), while trying to get to the repair shop.
After checking under the hood where steam was now billowing out, Sgt. 1st Class Peck continued to his home and returned with water, refilled the “container,” enabling me to continue to the shop. He also followed the short distance, ensuring I arrived OK.
There really are kind and helpful people “out there.” Sgt. 1st Class Peck is one of them. Thank you again and again! God’s blessing to you and your Family.
