    Magistrate Doug Goodman’s workout on a treadmill at SNAP Fitness Center in Radcliff came to a halt Monday morning—so he could officiate a wedding.
    Christopher Barbari, a Soldier who is stationed at Fort Knox, and his fiancee, Leighnara Staser, were married by Mr. Goodman at the fitness center shortly before Mr. Barbari was scheduled to be sent for training and later deployed to Afghanistan.

    Kyle Hinton is the Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 3.  Kyle is a starter on the 7th grade Bulldog basketball team. As well, he is an outstand-ing student and role model for his teammates. Hinton has improved tremendously with each week of play. He has the potential to be a significant player for years to come as he leads his team in the classroom and on the court.

    Injuries and a weapon that he could not zero weren’t enough to stop Cadet Command Staff Sgt. Russell Kojo from becoming the U.S. Army Accessions Command NCO of the Year.
    An ROTC instructor at the University of California-Berkeley, Kojo became the third straight Cadet Command NCO of the Year to earn the Accessions Command honor.

    Between Friday and Sunday, liaison teams from Fort Knox’s 3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) deployed directly to Haiti or joined with units from Fort Bragg, N.C., and the U.S. Southern Command in support of relief efforts to that island nation stemming from the devastation caused by an earthquake  Jan. 12.

Industry experts were also visiting their cyberspace initiatives.
