The girls placed seventh out of 18 teams and the boys placed sixth out of 18 teams. The girls’ team had many girls who ran their personal bests. Kopp ran a personal best with a time of 23:18 and she placed 22nd out of 70 runners. Doehring ran one of her personal bests with a time of 23:43 and placed 27th out of 70 runners. Claire Donohue also ran her personal best with a time of 26:06. On the boys’ side there were five runners who ran sub 20 minutes. Orlando Rojas led the way for the boys’ team, receiving a medal for placing seventh out of 111 runners with a time of 17:40. Jabari Jackson ran a personal best of 18:17 placing 16th out of 111 runners. Kopp also ran a personal best and ran sub 20 for the first time ever with a time of 19:57. The Eagles’ next meet is today. They will travel to Hodgenville and compete in the Jack Mitchell Invitational 5k Run.
